Bronson's story
To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit /adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.

Bronson is a 3 year-old Cattledog/Husky/Beagle mix (or at least thats our best guess!) with sparkling blue eyes and a desire to avoid cameras! Although this boy is as sweet as can be, he wanted nothing to do with the camera so it was a real challenge to get photos that suggest his true playful and loving disposition. Bronson came into a rural county dog shelter as a stray and from there went into a local foster home before making the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would be able to find a permanent new home. He had arrived at the shelter limping on one of his front legs. X-rays revealed an old break in the leg which had long since healed on its own. He will always walk with a limp but that certainly doesnt slow him down. Bronson is super dog-friendly and enjoys wrestling and playing chase and tug-o-war with his fellow foster dogs. One of his favorite buddies is Tawny who he shared a previous foster home with as well. He would really enjoy a home with another dog to play with. Given his old injury, Bronson would not be a dog that could run with his owner but normal leash walking and playing as he desires are all OK. Bronson has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although we cant guarantee it. Bronson weighs about 42 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. Hes neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure its a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email  info@caninelifeline.org  if youre interested in Bronson. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so arent comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you havent heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasnt landed in there.
