LUKE HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. If youre a Cattledog fan, youre going to love Luke! This very handsome and photogenic 11 month-old Cattledog mix has a great disposition and is much more laid-back than most representatives of his breed. Luke was found as a stray and brought to an overcrowded county dog shelter. When he wasnt claimed, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would have more time to find the perfect new home. Although we dont have any history on this sweet boy, he seems to have had some training as he has excellent crate manners and walks quite well on a leash for a youngster. He may be housetrained too although we cant guarantee it. Luke loves playing chase and tug-of-war with his fellow foster dogs so would enjoy having an active canine pal or two in his new home. He would make a great walking or jogging pal and cant wait to join an active, fun-loving new family. Luke weighs about 40 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. Hes neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure its a great match before the adoption is finalized. We have no foster homes with young children so arent comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age.
