My story
Melina came to us with a critical medical issue that was moments away from taking her life. She had pyometra. This is a condition where an unfixed female has a uterus that becomes infected and grows until its perforated. Hers was half her body weight. Fantastic vets spayed her with no complications! Her friend and possible daughter, Kaylei, was by her side the whole time while she healed. Kaylei also suffered from pyometra, but we didnt know it since she wasnt visibly showing. Melina is a good girl, and we are hoping she finds a loving home soon! Bonus if you adopt her friend Kaylei too. (Melina does have a fish allergy, and she has reactive skin issues that cause her to chew and lick so be mindful not to have fish in her food).
